Why I Like the Rain

Firstly, God created it for our good.  Otherwise, it feeds the earth, hence, the plants that feed us.  It replenishes the lakes and oceans the way it is needed.  It washes and refreshes the old.  Then, the sun comes after the rain.   There’s the rainbow at the end of the shower.  A reminder of God’s promise.

I don’t deny the terrible effects that a major storm can cause.  That’s not what I’m emphasizing here.  I’m appreciating the good that your average spring shower brings, which is life.
